Important new page!!!

[edit]

Looks like the Supreme Court of the United States is going to make history on this one, according to news reports that only started a few hours ago . Hopefully someone can take over building this article - I am getting too many "internal 500 errors", so will not be adding any more now. This page should be displayed on the main page, imo. I am sure enwp will have it on theirs. Ottawahitech (talk) 05:01, 3 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

I may be able to help with building this article. It looks like it needs some added quotes from the ruling, sorted under sections that need to be added for the majority and dissenting opinions. The About section is a mess! I can't find any order the many, many quotes are ordered in here; definitely they're not ordered by chronology. Maybe alphabetically, but nothing says so. This case has had a LOT of new material written about it since that enraged-college-freshman screed Alito "wrote" for the majority opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson was published. I still can't believe they let him write that rubbish, or that most of the U.S. Supreme Court looked at that, said "Yeah, let's sign our names to that for all time!" and called it a day. But- I digress.
I will do whatever I can to assist with reorganizing and improving this page. It will take time for me to get to it, but I will make it a point to address what this page needs sooner or later, and will add it to my Project Pages list. AC9016 (talk) 04:10, 25 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'm sorry about the poor organizing AC9016, and thank you for your help. I noticed this page did not actually have any quotes taken from the decision and very quickly added some passages without actually looking at the Wikiquote pages for other Supreme Court cases to see if they used sections. I kept meaning to go back and fix it at some point, but I've been putting it off to read more Wikipedia references instead. CensoredScribe (talk) 20:30, 25 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Should this article be split

[edit]

We have a few quotes for the hisorical (50 years ago) Roe, but now there are also many Bans off Our Bodies protests occur across United States after leaked Supreme Court draft quotes popping up. Should we split this page or merely order it chronologically?

What do you think? Thanks in advance, Ottawahitech (talk) 19:32, 18 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Ilovemydoodle: I know you are very busy. Can you spare the time to do it? Ottawahitech (talk) 10:38, 22 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Chronological ordering for historical topics is the norm, so it would appear, although having a separate page for 2022 abortion protests would also be warranted. CensoredScribe (talk) 20:30, 25 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
