"Sid Meir" or "Sid Meier" actually ?

The latter. Moved. Nanobug 12:53 6 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Alpha Centauri quote source[edit]

"As the Americans learned so painfully in Earth's final century..." Did Sid Meier actually say this? Sure, it was in a Sid Meier game, but that doesn't mean Sid Meier wrote those words.

I've moved it to attributed, but it might be best to move it to Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri. We might never be sure who wrote that line. --Mrwojo 02:18, 21 Feb 2005 (UTC)
Definitely move it. The "Sid Meier" part of the title is much like the "Tom Clancy" part of the title of a Tom Clancy novel or game. The name is a brand, but he had little to do with the actual production. I'd attribute it to Brian Reynolds before Sid Meier, but the truth of the matter is, i don't know who wrote that line, so i agree with the move to Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri --128.143.167.95 14:47, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)
