This is the talk page for discussing improvements to the The Alchemist (novel) page.

If we add this to Paulo Cohelo's Page it would be better for somebody to cross reference. However, if we make it and leave it on its on page and somebody searches; 'Alchemist Quotes' It would be a lot easier to find. That is my perspective on the topic. I think the point is that a number of quotes for this book are already on the Paulo Coelho page and these quotes should be checked against those for redundancy. I don't have a problem having a separate page for this book if there are enough quotes to do so (after combing the list of quotes from the two pages), with a link to it from the author's page. ~ UDScott (talk) 21:03, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
I agree the material is too much to add to Paulo Coelho's page, and is in need of formatting cleanups. What is usually done is a few sample quotes are left in a section on the author's page, with links for more quotes from works with their own pages provided there. ~ Kalki·· 21:09, 16 February 2012 (UTC) + tweaks
The page had only three quotes when it was first tagged to be merged.[1] It has grown so much in the meantime that merging in the other direction would be better, so I am switching the tag to {{mergefrom}}.~ Ningauble (talk) 15:15, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
