Quotes from the series

There are other quotes from this series, some are from the notable characters, Hadrian Spooner who currently has no wikipedia article also makes a few. My personal feeling is there is a possibility some of these will have been scripted or reshot to include them. In fact there are one or two sublime and plain quotes off the cuff from the volunteers which are actually the best in my opinion. Anyway I'm a newbie here so I'll start with one. When Dick Strawbridge says 'Is that beautiful or what?'

I've realised when and about what he has said this quote is more diffcult. At the start intro of ep.1 (I think) he said Silver Lady doing the truss bridge crossing at Laggan locks ... at ep.3 start intro it was the Caledonian spiral. (But did he actually say it at ep5 m39 ... which is when notes say the Inverness Helix was shown? The quote was certainly said at least twice but when I'm sure of my when's (may be a couple of days) I'll do the update. Think I was spending a lot of effort concentrating on the infobox I slipped one basic check. Whoops! • Djm-leighpark, this was previously proposed for deletion because "Unremarkable quote." The turn of phrase is so commonplace it can be found in a dictionary using this exact sentence as example. Nor is it original to this work, as seen in a Google search showing it quoted from the 1988 film A Fish Called Wanda. ~ Ningauble (talk) 22:37, 17 March 2023 (UTC)

@Ningauble: Although I originally created this as Djm-leighpark I now have abandoned that user and will be contributing as henceforth as DeirgeDel (unless I make a mistake like a Quickstatements batch on wikidata to support 41 sitelinks to new Wikiquote articles that I accidently ran as Djm-leighpark). I am aware work quotes are needed here, as on Gary Lineker that I have also recovered. I am aware that quote is likely insufficient. And I will obviously add additional quotes. If your concerned I might not then feel free to raise a VfD. I need to interleave improving this with other stuff including RL stuff. If I'd have had a PROD notification back in 2018/19 when I was more up to speed on this then we'd probably not have had a delete. Thankyou. -- DeirgeDel ^t_a^c 23:48, 17 March 2023 (UTC)
