Green Day is a band from California, consisting of Billie Joe Armstrong (lead vocals and guitar as well as the occasional harmonica), Mike Dirnt (born Michael Ryan Pritchard; bass, backing vocals), and Tré Cool (born Frank Edwin Wright III; drums, percussion, backing vocals). Since their sixth album, Warning, the band has included close friend Jason White as a back-up guitarist for live shows. Green Day is credited, along with The Offspring and Rancid, with popularizing and reviving mainstream interest of punk rock in the United States during the mid 1990s.

II: City of the Damned: (Tunny) At the center of the earth in the parking lot of the 7-11 where I was taught. The motto was just a lie. It said home is where your heart it but what a shame cause everybody's heart doesn't beat the same. It's besting out of time. City of the dead, at the end of another lost highway. Signs miss leading to no where. City of the damned, lost children with dirty faces today. No one really seems to care.

(Tunny) I read the graffiti in the bathroom stall. (Johnny) Like the holy scriptures in a shopping mall. (Both) And so they seemed to confess. (Will) It didn't way much but it only confirmed, (Tunny) That the center of the earth is the end of the world. (All three) And I could really care less. City of the dead. At the end of another lost highway. Signs miss leading to no end. City of the damned Lost children with dirty faces today. No one really seems to care
