[edit]I've just read your recent emails to me, from the 28th of June — I do not actually check my emails every day, and sometimes a week or more goes by before I sort through things I've received. The reason I deleted the user page that had been created is because it was created using an IP number, and not a logged-in username, didn't seem to have any clear relation to the user name, and seemed more like some random vandalism. You are free to post a limited amount of information or quotes about yourself, your relations and acquaintances on your user page if you wish to, when you are logged in. Though "John Marshall Lang" doesn't seem to meet Wikiquote's notability requirements for a separate page within the "article space" you are allowed to post some information about him here, on your user talk page, or your user page itself. ~ Kalki 17:42, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
I could now restore the edits to your user page which you had earlier made without logging in (but this would reveal the IP you worked from), or you could create the page again after logging yourself in, so that your IP address won't show in the edit summaries. ~ Kalki 18:05, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
