I am not trying to pry, but I just saw your userpage where it says that you are " currently experiencing health issues" that may affect your ability to work on Meta. Role of Stewards in the community

Hi Camouflaged Mirage

Due to the interest in Global blocks/locks at WQ I decided to check Meta:Steward requests/Global to see if it is true that Stewards merely rubberstamp requests for such blocks, so that the decision to block a user from all wmf-sites rests with one administrator. I saw that you filed a request for such a block earlier today and that the request was rubberstamped by Steward User:Wim b within 15 minutes. I personally find this astounding. How can a user lose access to all wmf-sites because of your say so? I don't really know you, but this type of system suggests that the community has no say at all? Am I wrong? @Ottawahitech: The LTA is a known LTA and is globally banned user. The ban was enacted by an WMF Office Action on the 2018. Based on their contributions, I had deemed this user to be a sock of the foundation banned user. I am sure any meta sysop reviewing my action will agree with my conclusions. In this case, the community do not have a say as it's an office action via WMF. According to the terms of use which governs wikimedia, we cannot when we know they are a sock of banned user, continue to allow them to contribute, that will be against the Terms of Use of this project and globally. In addition, I don't think Wim b is rubberstamping my request, I am sure they had evaluated all the evidences before locking.

If you wish, you may email stewards@wikimedia.org to review Wim b lock of this particular account (as that is the only way). If you wish to contest my block and determinations, as you are blocked on meta, I will grant an exception. Tell me which sysop you trust on meta and post it here. I will then ask them to review the block if necessary. I will though, limit this to just one sysop, so have your pick. Thanks much. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 15:13, 28 February 2021 (UTC)

Actually I do have a question concerning my current block on Meta, which I trust will not be construed by you as editing by proxy.

Here is my question: I just checked my status at Meta and confirmed that the block notice says I was blocked by User:Tks4Fish. However when I checked this user's page on meta I see it says:

I'm Tks4Fish, a steward, and sysop/checkuser/oversighter at the Portuguese Wikipedia.

However I cannot find any evidence that Tks4Fish has admin rights on Meta. Since you yourself is an admin on Meta would you care to comment? Thanks in advance, Ottawahitech (talk) 21:07, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
