He is not a friend but I have seen his artwork and heard him lecture. He merits inclusion.

Please stop recreating this page and adding an entry for this person to List of people by name, unless you're able to explain who the person is and why they're notable for inclusion at Wikiquote. Wikiquote exists for collecting quotes from notable people and works, not personal quotes or quotes from a friend. —LrdChaos (talk) 20:15, 8 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Bill Randall (b. 1964-) Wisconsin is a visual artist currently living in Minneapolis, MN. He is referenced in who's who in American Art and has participated in over 20 group art exhibitions in museums and private galleries in the U.S. and Canada. He also has had two solo museum exhibitions and is in the collection of the Renwick gallery, New Visions Gallery, and the Elmhurst Art Museum. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Cmderr (talkcontribs) 21:40, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Do you have any reliable sources for any of the information above? Personal testimony is not considered evidence. Also, we provide links to policy and help pages to help new editors understand how things work at Wikiquote. Please follow the instructions I posted above — "to sign with a date, write four tildes (~~~~) and save" — when you post comments to talk pages, so that readers know who is talking and when they posted. Please also read the "reliable sources" link I provide above to see what Wikimedia projects like Wikiquote consider acceptable sources, and why we need these. If you have any questions, feel free to post them here or on my talk page. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 01:21, 9 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I will try to make the changes noted. The sources to date are primarily from an exhibition at the Minocqua Museum in 2002 and research for an upcoming exhibition at New Visions gallery. If nothing else they can be cited using the Chicago Manual of Style method. I am also working on an exhibition that deals with at least 3 private art festivals, two in the midwest and one on the West Coast and I hope to add one on the East Coast, and the original plan was to create a wickipedia entry for each in the hopes of documenting more as there really aren't traditional print methods for doing so. I've heard that there are dozens of these, but as almost all are invitiation only, it is hard to be sure. I have been invited to the one in Wisconsin on two occassions, but not the others. --Cmderr 17:39, 9 November 2006 (UTC)cmderrReply
