Intimate relationship skills

[edit]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Intimate relationship skills, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but it may not satisfy Wikiquote's criteria for inclusion, for the reasons given in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikiquote is not" and Wikiquote's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Votes for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. ~ Ningauble 13:30, 20 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

I have removed PROD notice as all raised issues addressed - reference added to the article with ISBN and copyright permission attributions. Geoffjw1978 07:47, 27 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Altering talk page messages

[edit]

Please do not make substantive changes to prior posts on talk pages as you did here and here. Doing so makes it difficult or impossible for anyone to follow the conversation. Please feel free to add a new post at the bottom for any clarifications or new ideas. Thanks. ~ Ningauble 15:11, 9 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

the "multiple pages" you referred to did indeed make the page lose credibility. The multiple pages were not created by me, but by Admins moving the page around from user space, to Afc pages, then creating a page with a typo in the title and linking that to the main space page, but promptly correcting the typo and leaving the broken link. My edit intention was to make it easier for the reader to navigate the "semi-vandalism" wreaked by well-meaning admins to get directly to the article-for-creation page which I believe will remain an unaltered link until promotion to main-space.

I'm sorry if this has made it difficult to read, not easier, I am finding my way as a new editor. Geoffjw1978 18:49, 9 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
No offence intended. It is fairly common for article drafts to be moved around a bit when they do not appear to be ready for prime-time. A word of advice: I appreciate the frustration you are experiencing, for learning the peculiarities of the Wikipedia way of doing things is not always easy, but it would be wise to avoid terms like "vandalism" with reference to administrators. It means willfully malicious damage and, however much you may qualify or soften it, it is a red flag that engenders hostile reactions. The administrators would like to be your friends, if you let them. ~ Ningauble 15:42, 12 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
No offence taken at all. In fact, I really hope they don't read this wiki-quote talk page. Offence is taken from "enjoys biting newbies" templates in user pages, but I have overtures in draft and I'm trying to amass assistance in a re-phrasing those vampire logos.

In an interestingly development,
There's news on the guy who wreaked the havoc and so caused Ningauble to think ill of the Main Space article.
That account has been blocked, indefinitely, with no further appeals, by a cohort of admins. There was a tyrannical Tyrannosaurus Rex tarpit death struggle, to the last… w:User:SunCountryGuy01
It seems others were not quite so polite with their "softened" words, and pleas for clemency as I was. Geoffjw1978 22:09, 3 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
