Galefele Moroko

[edit]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Galefele Moroko, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but it may not satisfy Wikiquote's criteria for inclusion, for the reasons given in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikiquote is not" and Wikiquote's deletion policy).

You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Votes for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. ~ UDScott (talk) 12:30, 22 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

I made a very big mistake by publishing the article before adding content to the main part which is the quotes. Please give me a little more time so that I can find the quotes and edit the article to add the relevant information. Thank you so much for attending to this. ~~MsLito~~

Template:Formatting Information icon Hello, I'm UDScott. I noticed that you recently made an edit to Palesa Molefe in which your edit summary did not appear to describe the change you made. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikiquote with an accurate edit summary. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. – Ilovemydoodle (Not a sockpuppet) (talk / e-mail) 20:52, 15 July 2022 (UTC) Template:FormattingReply

Edit summaries

[edit]

I see that you are now adding descriptive edit summaries, which is good, but, why are you adding the text "#Art #Feminism" after each summary, I do not know what this for, nor what it means. I have looked through Wikipedia:Edit summaries and do not see any mention of this. So, could you please clarify what this is for? Thanks. – Ilovemydoodle (Not a sockpuppet) (talk / e-mail) 13:11, 16 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Sorry for a very late reply. Some of the quotes added were for contributions towards the Art & Feminism project, we were hence told not to add the # in the edit summaries and I had already done it. I will ensure not to add them as I continue with the editing of other pages. Ms Lito (talk) 21:12, 26 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Samantha Mogwe

[edit]

The article you created Samantha Mogwe was previously deleted at Wikiquote:Votes for deletion/Samantha Mogwe. I therefore nominated it for speedy deletion which was actioned by an administrator. My belief is that it would require a successful appeal at WQ:DRV to be re-introduced to English Wikiquote. As you are aware the subject has Wikidata item at d:Q113573425 and what appears to be a an article at w:tn:Samantha Mogwe (in Sepidi?) My personal assessment was neither these nor your article have met the required standard of notability which requires independent reliable sources. Notability is best demonstrated by persisting an article on the English Wikipedia first in my opinion. Thankyou. -- DeirgeDel tac 16:52, 27 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

In efforts to create an English Wikipedia article for Samantha Mogwe I realized that there is an existing draft for the same person, awaiting review. I also found a Setswana wikipedia article for the same but it also needs improvement.

Thankyou for that information. I may be talk about this case at the zoom at m:Meetup/UK_virtual/16 circa 20:30 UTC today. (but I'm only 80% certain I will be there) and I'm currently lagging getting the topics I wish to discuss there. I'm a little time crunched at the moment. Thankyou. -- DeirgeDel tac 11:55, 1 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
