The fist time a character appears in an episode, it should be be a link to it's respective article on Wikipedia. If you don't know how to do this, I've included all the ones currently used in the article here. If you know of a character that isn't here but should be, or a new character article is made, please add it to the list here.

To use these links, simply put them in place of the character's name the first time they appear in any episode, between the bold format marks ( ''' ). Also, if a later quote by the character has a link to it's page as well, change it so that it doesn't link. ONLY the first time a character appears in each section should be linked. Formatting

Episodes do not have season/number information, links to tv.com in title, dialogue formatting not as recommended by Wikiquote:Templates/TV shows or the GtL ~ MosheZadka (Talk) 09:16, 5 December 2005 (UTC)

Close (and nice work). Quotations are still not seperated by half-rules (<hr width="50%"/>), there is no introduction (a few sentences at the beginning), nor an external links section at the bottom with a wikipedia box. Also, quotations are formatted with no indent and with br, unlike the recommended format. You need something like

Gir: Lalalaa

Zim: Lololo

Rather than

Gir: Lalalaa
Zim: Lololo

Yeah, we're quite careful about formatting in Wikiquote. Thanks for your formatting work! I've re-added the cleanup flag, because a number of issues still remain:

• Context lines are not italicized ("[does something]" rather than "[does something]")
• Still no introduction (that's a biggie! "Have an introduction" is one of the main Wikiquote guidelines)
• Seperator uses width="75%" and not width="50%" for some reason
• There is a lot of extra vertical whitespace (two consecutive empty rows create this, which looks unclean)
• Still no "External links" section at the bottom with a wikipedia box.

The TV formatting guidelines are among the most complicated, because unfortunately the MediaWiki formatting tools are not well suited to it, and it takes a bit of time to get used to them. Wonderful work! I edited it a bit: I removed the TOCLeft and shortened the introduction a little bit (usually 2-3 sentences of highly wikified text is considered best) as well as changed one left over 75% rule. Thanks again for your careful formatting. I've now removed the cleanup tag from the article. If you feel like working more on the page, there are quotations which should be merged to this article in the If you got some new quotes please add em just above here. they'll be classified in the upper section after article (it was a sad choice by some editor which led some new users to add quotations to this article). Well, usually there's no need to delete: I just changed the page to redirect to this page. It won't be listed in any list of pages, and any links to it will automatically arrive here. You could VFD it, but I doubt there's need. Also, please note that when merging pages, you should copy the history to the talk page. I already did so here, but just for future reference. "Cancelled episodes" section

I've removed the "Cancelled episodes" section because there's reliable source available to verify the quotes. The only result in a search for one of the quotes was a script on "The Scary Monkey Show", which isn't a reliable source for the purposes of adding quotes that cannot otherwise be verified. Here is the content of the section, should anyone be able to find such a source:

Well, there are certain cancelled episodes where the voicing is on the DVD box set. I have the DVD's. I'll listen to the audio and add any quotes that are worth adding. MJMyers2 23:10, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

Missing episode

There are a couple of episodes that are "missing" (for example, "A Room with a Moose" and "Hamstergeddon". You can generally tell from the numbering that some episodes are missing (the numbers in brackets after each episode title have some gaps), and this is usually just because no one has added quotes from these episodes yet. If you know any, feel free to add them yourself; it may be a while before I have a chance to watch the show again to fill in some of the gaps. —LrdChaos (talk) 14:29, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

I have just put in the Episode Dib's Wonderful Life of Doom and I am working on getting the stuff together to do the others that are missing. I will probably have Hamstergeddon up by Dec. 3 06. Additional quote from "Gir goes crazy and stuff"

I was hoping someone with access to episodes could tell me a quote that I need for a top secret project. I am making a super-secret-squirrel sign with the Gir quote that goes something like: "Your <Something>...Is stupid! Your methods...are STUPID! Your intelligence...IS STUPID!! Thank you for your time, I am unable to look this up myself due to being in Iraq an' all. Sucks.
