Please stop making unconstructive changes to Wikiquote. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Wikiquote exists for the collecting of notable quotations from people and works. For a quick overview of what Wikiquote is, read Wikiquote:Wikiquote, and also What Wikiquote is not for a list of common activities that Wikiquote does not support. When people are not interested in responsibly contributing to the development of the project incidents of their deliberate vandalism can result in their usernames or IP addresses being blocked from editing. Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, add nonsense pages, or pages for nonnotable subjects, you may be blocked from editing Wikiquote. ~ UDScott 13:52, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikiquote. ~ UDScott 14:01, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikiquote for abuse of editing privileges. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. ~ UDScott 14:06, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- Incidentally, this username on Wikipedia, likely the same person (see user-page deletion log, has been blocked indefinitely for doing much of the same kind of pestering through repeated posting of meaningless statements on user pages under both this name and "Brian Michael Barbera". Because of this, I recommend a permanent block if the user returns only to continue this trolling behavior. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 14:40, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- Seconded strongly, if not indef block now as vandalism only account (if you have that on WQ). Tyrenius 05:41, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Brian Barbera. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Brian Barbera~enwikiquote that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
