I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Oregano, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but it may not satisfy Wikiquote's criteria for inclusion, for the reasons given in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikiquote is not" and Wikiquote's deletion policy).

You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. "The world is my lobster."

I find an earlier source for this quote:

• Long as we're not sticking with English, I figure the world is my lobster.
  • Joni Hilton, Scrambled Home Evenings: A Novel (1994), page 75.

Can you provide an earlier date of authorship for Tillman? If not, it would seem that Hilton should be credited as the author of this quote. Cheers! BD2412 T 19:15, 19 June 2013 (UTC)

Taking into account Wikiquote:Quotability’s view that The presence of a quote in a published collection of quotations is strong evidence of quotability, both as to the quote and as to the author of the quote, and the fact that I agree with that view, and that Joshi seems to be quoted in a minimum of 7 independent & reliable secondary sources (some of which may actually be tertiary), I believe that like many others, not only some of Joshi’s quotes but Joshi himself is notable on Wikiquote. Please stop re-arguing the Kedar Joshi case in other unrelated discussions, as you have been doing very extensively at Wikiquote:Votes for deletion/Harmon Leon. These digressions are becoming disruptive.
