I'm not sure, I've some quotes regarding chastity and am considering placing them here? Would that be acceptable, does anyone think?

Here would probably be an appropriate place, but if you have a large number of them you could also start a page on Chastity if you like. —Kalki 02:48, 22 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Deleted a quote about menstruation. Monthly period doesn't equal sex.

This "The Ethical Slut"-crap should be deleted. If anyone wants it, give it its own damn page.

I agree, but not cause I'm offended by the content, because they're not really quotes. They're justifications for an ideology, (which is very much what the whole book is, the authors would probably agree). Quotes are short little things that make you think or put words or ideas together in a unique way that sort of gels a concept. Most of those The Ethical Slut quotes don't do that. They're just not very interesting as quotes. I trimmed them down a bit.

Cleanup[edit]

I've done some major format cleanup of this article. Among other things, I've moved all the Ethical Slut quotes to The Ethical Slut, which was a stub article until now. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 07:24, 15 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wouldn't it be better to organize the "Attributed" section by author than by the first letter of the quote? El Camino6  19:11, 03 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I just organized the sourced section by author, but the alphabetizing of unsourced quotes was adopted early for many pages, as a way to avoid duplications; various attributions sometimes exist for the same quote. ~ Kalki 01:09, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced[edit]

Wikiquote no longer allows unsourced quotations, and they are in process of being removed from our pages (see Wikiquote:Limits on quotations); but if you can provide a reliable and precise source for any quote on this list please move it to Human sexual activity.
