Welcome[edit]

Hello, Bystander53, and welcome to the English Wikiquote, a free compendium of quotations written collaboratively by people just like you!

To ask for advice or assistance feel free to drop by the Village Pump or ask on my talk page. Happy editing! And again, welcome!

Thank you for your additions to the QotD suggestion pages. I recommend providing a ranking of them in the standard fashion so as to indicate one's level of desire that they are eventually used. At most, one quote on each suggestion page should be ranked 4 by any person, at any time. ~ Kalki·· 02:00, 8 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bystander, none of the quotes you added here can be found in the author's Wikiquote page. Please choose your favorite quotes from Wikiquote articles (or add them to the articles first, if they aren't there, before suggesting them for QotD; providing a link to goodreads isn't enough). Thank you for your attention. ~ DanielTom (talk) 17:01, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there[edit]

Can you please stop suggesting politically-charged quotes? We get it, you don't like Orange Dude. Get over it and stop violating NPOV.--Sigehelmus (talk) 15:05, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"I remember my youth" ..."[edit]

Thanks for that beautiful quote , can you tell me from which of Conrad's works it comes ? Pray, may I come here to look for your answer : I've stopped writing in WP for some years now...
