• Ningauble nominates the following pages for deletion: Honey (disambiguation), Sweetie, Toots, Nut, Chick, Duplex, Chick Island, and Babe.

  After a discussion at Wikiquote:Votes_for_deletion/Honey_(disambiguation), the page is kept (thanks to Honey, Honey, and Honey).  BD2412 assisted in the saving of Nut by creating Nut and Nut.  Duplex is saved (thanks to Duplex, Duplex, and Duplex!).  Babe is saved (due to the preëxisting pages Babe Ruth, The Babe, Babe, and Styx).

  After some discussion (a discussion involving much misunderstanding between Ningauble and me), I retract my keep vote for Chick Island, and it is deleted.  (DanielTom suggests that I am "trying too hard to make Wikiquote mirror Wikipedia.")  The others I also let expire.  (See also discussions and Wikiquote:Votes for deletion/Template:Quotability.)

• A discussion is had regarding the use of symbols in the QOTD.  I do not participate.

• DanielTom and I discuss reviving Romeo + Juliet.  We work together to construct a prototype.  I must eventually submit this for recreation.

• Further QOTD discussion.  I do participate.  Reasonable consensus is reached that there should be one QOTD image per day.  Per UDScott‍'‍s recommendation, I attempt to begin a discussion on specific language for the policy.  The discussion goes nowhere.

• I create for myself a resources page to be hopefully used in the building of future pages.

• DanielTom and I have a discussion about the double-space, which inspires me to do a bit of investigating.  The modern tendency toward a single space has nothing to do with typewriters; rather, it was a money-saving device adopted in modern, commercial publishing.
• UDScott thanked me for my work on creating templates.
• CensoredScribe and I discuss art.  I express the views that it is

  prudent to be a tad discerning when categorising things as art or as art movements, for if we don't, we may end up categorising everything as art, thus rendering the category rather unhelpful.

• CensoredScribe nominates Category:Libertarian films for deletion.  In the discussion, UDScott initially votes delete.  (Continued in December.)

• UDScott and I discuss my categorisation of films as libertarian.  We come to a reasonable agreement.  UDScott writes,

  Thanks Allixpeeke for your thoughtful responses - I think I have a much better understanding of your view - and I admit, you've convinced me on many of your points. I retract my statement that you were trying to stretch an idea to make films fit into the box of Libertarian films. Thanks!

  Following the discussion, UDScott changes vote to keep, writing,

  I vote keep and provide a lengthy response to the discussion addressing every concern listed.  Nobody else alters vote.  Y-S.Ko and CensoredScribe add additional comments.  UDScott changes vote again, saying that although my approach to libertarian themes in films has merit, UDScott was no longer "sure that this category is useful for describing films on this site."  I provide a medium-length response to Y-S.Ko (although I accidentally address the response to CensoredScribe (an error I later fix)).  I provide a lengthy response to CensoredScribe.  (I quote myself when addressing concerns that I had already addressed previously.)  I provide a lengthy response to Y-S.Ko.  No one alters vote.
• UDScott and I discussed the Category:Journalist films category.  We came to a reasonable agreement.  UDScott writes,

  I'll just say that yes it is still confusing...but your point is well made and I agree. :-) Feel free to revert my changes. Thanks.

• In the discussion on whether or not to delete Category:Libertarian films, I provide a brief response, a moderately-lengthy response, and a lengthy response to 50.185.134.48.  No one alters vote.

January

• UDScott deletes Category:Cities in Sri Lanka, Category:Cities in Syria, Category:Cities in Chile, and Category:Free Soil Party United States Senators.  Reason: "Housekeeping."
• DanielTom thanked me for my edit in the village pump.
• In the discussion on whether to delete Category:Libertarian films, per DanielTom‍'‍s request, I provide a brief, additional response to Y-S.Ko.  No one alters vote.  Category is deleted.
• I request that Category:Anarchist films and Category:Socialist films (both of which I had created along with Category:Libertarian films) be deleted.  Both are.
• CensoredScribe nominates Category:Feminist films for deletion.  In the discussion, I vote delete, providing the following rationale:

  Normally, I would vote keep for this and similar categories.  But since Category:Libertarian films was not deemed suitable by the community, I see no reason why this category would be deemed acceptable, either.  Maybe someday, in future years, opinions will sway, and categories such as these will no longer be viewed as unsuitable.  But, until then, it only makes sense that we be consistent.

  Category is deleted.
• UDScott and I discuss the clean-up tag on Alice in Wonderland.  We come to a reasonable agreement.  UDScott writes,

  You have very reasonably defended your choices and I honestly believe that you may be right that perhaps it is best to leave this page as it is - this page seems to qualify as one that should be an exception to the template. That being said, I do not wish to see all pages deviate from the template and I think it is good that we discussed this case (and should other pages seek to deviate from the template in the future, I would hope similar discussion occurs). Thanks for your thoughts - I will remove the tag.

• CensoredScribe suggests a possible issue with my approach to ordering quotes.  I find merit to the suggestion and revise my approach.

  To summarise: (1) Surname of the author whose surname comes first alphabetically, (2) surname of the person with a "screenplay by" credit whose surname comes first alphabetically, (3) surname of the person with a "written by" credit whose surname comes first alphabetically, (4) surname of the person with a "story by" credit whose surname comes first alphabetically, (5) work title, (6) surname of the character whose surname comes first alphabetically, (7) as "Narrator" (if the character is a narrator), (8) "Unknown," (9) "Anonymous" (if not a character).
