Pokémon Red and Blue
Pokémon Red Version and Pokémon Blue Version, originally released in Japan as Pocket Monsters: Red & Green, are role-playing video games developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy. The games detail a young boy's journey across an island, as he captures different kinds of monsters and uses them to help a scientist write an electronic encyclopedia and travel from town to town fighting the leaders of the local gymnasium to qualify for the regional monster fighting championship to go up against the reigning champion.
