Pitch then notices that the Nightmares are around and thinks that they are here to support him, but North says that he doesn't know what the Nightmares are here, but says he isn't scared of them. Jack then says that they are possibly sensing his fear. Pitch horrifically realizes Jack is right and tries to flee, but the Nightmares take him down and force him into his lair for good.

Shen, refusing to care about the potential loss of his wolf pack, ordered Boss Wolf again to fire. Seeing who Shen is, Boss Wolf finally refuses. Infuriated, Shen killed him with his throwing blades and proceeded to fire the cannon himself.

    • Note: An angry Cortes then accused Tzekel-Kan as a liar, kicked him to the ground, and ordered his men to seize him before moving onward. Before they left, Tzekel-Kan noticed Chel hiding behind the rocks and told the men to wait, but they didn't listen and dragged him away. It is unknown what happened to Tzekel-Kan after that, but it is possible he was either killed, imprisoned, or sold as a slave.

    • Note: Gets dropped out of the flying crate by Ginger and gets stuck in the pie machine while its gravy is high-pressure. Then after the pie machine exploded, Mr. Tweedy says to her "I told you they was organized." But she snarled at him, then screamed in horror as the door fell on her.
  • Phillip, help me! Phillip! [Phillip gets out of the bouncy house, saw the big female rabbit puppet and runs to it from behind, thinking it was the were-rabbit Wallace] Do something! [A snarling Phillip leaps into the air and bites into the female were-rabbit puppet's tail] D'AAAAAAAHHHH!!!!! [Reverend Clement Hedges: Destroy! Drive out the monstrosity!]

Mandible screamed his last words while charging at Z, as Z pushes Cutter out of the way, only to have him and Mandible tumble into the flooded colony below. Mandible was killed when he collided with a root; meanwhile Z was soon rescued from the water by Cutter and revived by a kiss of life from his love, Princess Bala.

However, the king jumps in front of him (mimicking the scene where Frank Farmer (Kevin Costner) jumps in front of Rachel Marron (Whitney Houston) in the 1992 romantic thriller The Bodyguard); while the magic turns him back into a frog, his armor deflects the shot at the Fairy Godmother, disintegrating her.
  • [after thinking he finally killed Shrek] A new era finally begins! [Shrek opens his eyes to his friends, who are relieved] Now, all of you, bow before your king!
